David sits down with Buddy Shula to discuss the launch of Colligan Law LLP and the firm’s vision. Colligan Law’s vision is that the Western New York community has an innovative community developing in the business world, and the firm is structuring its legal services to support and provide services to the growing businesses in the area.

David discusses the growth stages of a business from forming an entity to the owner’s exit. He discusses how his firm Colligan Law has practice areas that can service the entrepreneurs in the Buffalo and Western New York Area.

Who are the entrepreneurs in Western New York? They are people who have created a successful business and are trying to enjoy a lifestyle that will allow them to enjoy both the business and personal side of being successful. Colligan Law has practice areas, in addition to business law, like aviation, timber and forestry law and oil and gas law to help successful entrepreneurs and business people manage their personal assets such as private aircraft, land in the country with timber and oil and gas rights. These are additional assets owned by entrepreneur that they have accumulated over time. These are the types of assets that Colligan Law helps entrepreneurs manage while still handling their complex legal matter.

Colligan Law’s slogan is Advocates for Business and Community. The partners of Colligan Law came together on one common basis. All of them are heavily involved in the community. David and his partners are involved with the Olmsted Parks, the Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity and groups that work with individuals with special needs.
