Fred Gawronski Receives Award at St. Francis High School

Fr. Michael Sajda, OFM Conv. President of St. Francis High School congratulates Fred Gawronski ’83 this year’s recipient of the Fr. Leon Krop Alumni Recognition Award. This award is presented annually at the Baccalaureate Liturgy to an individual who has distinguished himself through his service and contribution to St. Francis High School. Fred’s son Conrad is a member of the graduating class of 2014.

A long time board member of the St. Francis High School Alumni Association, this alumnus also served as its President form 2002-2005. During his tenure the Association experienced tremendous growth, most notably in its Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The success of this tournament has allowed the Association to significantly increase its financial support of St. Francis High School through contributions for scholarship programs and capital improvements. Today he continues to be a very active member of the Alumni Association and ardent supporter of St. Francis High School.

In his professional life, he is a successful attorney and holds degrees from Bucknell University, Villanova University, and Ohio Northern University Law School.
